I’d be pretty certain that the mousing is making things worse.

My shoulder still flares up when I mouse too long righty which I have to do for really fine photography touch up and graphic design work.

i once jumped a barbed wire fence and the top of the post cut my hand badly

ran across a horse pasture(without ever once looking down at the wound, as i have a propensity to pass out) to my car, ripped the sleeve off my friends sweatshirt to wrap it up and drove 45 minutes to lacrosse.

So far I haven't had any muscle/joint stuff happen beyond the normal sore muscles and cramps. I'm pretty mindful of that stuff because of work (I lift/bend all day everyday), and if I feel something creeping in I make some adjustments to form before it's a problem.

Once I got severely chafed by the rims of the boots on my neoprenes... Taller socks resolved that (and I don't wear them very much since they're only comfortable to hike in when it's below 35° anyways).

I also bashed my hand into some limestone trying to get out of a stream and scraped my knuckles up something fierce. It wouldn't have been too bad but it was the day before I started working a different position at work where I needed to sanitize my hands about 30x a shift.
