Glad to hear local businesses are bouncing back after the flood. Hopefully the Viola Horse & Colt show will go off without a problem this year. I drove through Ontario a couple weeks back and the cafe and gas station there are still boarded up.

Sure would be nice for the area to go a few years without a significant flood. They've had their share of it over the last 4-5 years.

Cafe' is located in the Citgo gas station.
Sandy's pub was purchased many years ago. Its now called Buckshots.
For a real homemade pizza made with fresh stuff, try Liberty Bar located 3 miles east of Viola on hy 56 and hy S.
$10 plus .25 cents per addition. Best be hungry if you try to eat one yourself.Half pound burgers start at $5.50 with add ons at .25 cents

Attended the Parks Commission meeting tonite and Trapfest is a go. Met the owner of the cattle next door. His sons sell firewood. I ordered a facecord for both Friday and Saturday. Bring cash to pay for it. This is shaping up to be a great time.

This is great. My buddy is going to set up at Sidie Hollow on Wednesday, and then leaving on Saturday. I'm coming down on Friday, and I'll camp with him on Friday night, then head over to Viola on Saturday and get weird with you miscreants for a night. Its been 3 years since my last Trapfest, and I'm looking forward to seeing some familiar faces.

On another note - Trapper, how have the ticks been this spring?
