Guys and Gals,
I’ve never met any of you but I’m looking for some feed back on a bucket list trip.
Read this article from this year:http://bunksoutdoorangle.com/a-sutton-river-trout-fishing-specktacle/

I really want to do this before I get too old(46). I know no one willing to deal with dozens of 16-24 inch brook trout a day or the possibility of crossing paths with polar bears.
I would like to know if anyone would have interest in pursuing this in the late summer of 2020.
I fish the Driftless a few times a year and would be more than happy to meet up face to face with anyone and discuss and fish some Wisconsin streams.

That’s why I’m looking at a year and a half away.
Life’s too short.

Wife and I were watching Joe Thomas this weekend and he went to the North Seal River to catch Lakers and pike. It looked like the most amazing trip ever so she’s like, you should save and do it.

I’m like... google it.

$5000+ just for the lodging. The flights and all other costs would be additional.

The whole fam is going to Grand Cayman for a week next winter and that trip and scuba for all of us will be less than just me going on a fishing trip like that.

I wish, but no.

I'm in (when I retire in 2029). Polar Bears will be extinct by then but weather should be better.

Around $5k and 10 days.
Biggest expense is the 3 hour float plane.

It’s cheaper for me to fly to Poland and fish the Rivers that border Slovakia plus go into Slovakia and fish the Vah River.
