Any reports from around the Viroqua area streams? Sounds like they got a ton of rain up that way this week. I was hoping to get out Saturday, but I won't bother if the creeks are still going to be muddy.

We fished Tainter Creek yesterday morning....quit about noon. The creek was a little high and had some stain, but not too bad. The fishing was actually very good for the first few hours, then the trout lost interest. Go figure.

I fished some streams in the Vernon/Richland county border area this morning, and they were moderately to lightly stained. Fishing was good on leeches and stompers!
I know folks get shy about fishing dirty water, but man I do great on small streams fishing leech patterns when the water is dirty.

Thanks guys! Just the encouraging news I was looking for. Now, if I can just drag myself out of bed tomorrow morning.
