Is this allowed...just a continual thread for updates on stream conditions?
I didn't see one...
Anyhow, any ideas for what they'd be like in general for this next weekend after this weird rain/ice and still some snow on the ground?
The spots I went to this past weekend were decent but already a bit clouded.
Strange winter so far.

Mormon Creek in La Crosse county was gin clear on 1/15. Today's rain and higher temps today and tomorrow, should stir things up a bit for the next few days. |

Rush and Pine (not the New Hartford, that Pine is actually pretty clear) creek in MN is a mess right now. Dushee is slightly stained. Gribben is clear as always. Yesterday I visited Cook and Bishop branch in Wisco, they were clear. Edited by user Thursday, January 19, 2017 7:52:04 PM(UTC)

Rain finally denting into the snow...melting is picking up. Even if the rain quits, warm temps on Saturday will keep the melt going. Hope the trout don't get lockjaw, but gonna do some damn fishing this weekend anyway... How high's the water? Edited by moderator Friday, January 20, 2017 5:19:10 AM(UTC)

Drove around Iowa, Sauk and Richland counties (Wisconsin) this morning searching for fishable water. All stream I looked at were high and muddy, with some up to their banks. Water temp on the two I checked was 38 degrees. Lots of standing water in farm fields feeding the run off. I'm hoping for better conditions tomorrow. Actually saw a few people fishing though.
