Thank you Bill. This is the other big brookie I got this weekend. Very pretty and 11 inches long.

BTW, I only live about 15 miles from you. I'm in West Bend. Are you in Trout Unlimited?

I am doing something wrong with posting the pictures of some pretty fish. But I will try anyway.

Nice looking Brookie! That guy has shoulders.

To post images on DTA you need to first upload them to a hosting website that supports creating hotlinks for forums. Imgur and PostImage can do this. The method is different from site to site, but first upload your image to the website and then look for a "share" link:

UserPostedImage

Then look for an option to create and copy a hyperlink for that image for forums, something like this:
UserPostedImage

The link may require some editing to remove unwanted tags and website links from appearing along with your image. Copy and paste that hyperlink into your DTA post and the picture should appear when you select the Preview or Post buttons.

Good luck!

Plus a pretty Brown. Not big, maybe 10 inches, but getting colorful for the fall. Usually they are almost gray in this stream.

Day 3 highlights
A cpl of small rainbows and browns. Looks like runs are started. I will be back a few more times!

Happy Fishing!!

Had a good few days recently in the Driftless. Monday was really good as I caught a bunch of browns, a tiger (third one since mid-August), and then a surprise rainbow. All I needed was to catch a brook and then I'd have the Driftless Grand Slam. Kept on fishing up into the skinny water and could find no brooks. Came back to the same stretch the next morning to chase the rainbows (assuming they were private pond escapees after flooding) and finally caught the brookie in the upper left. Didn't all happen on the same trip, but it was within 24 hours and on the same stretch of stream. I'll claim it as a 24 Hour Driftless Grand Slam. I don't often brag, but I will for this haul.

IMO, this is the prettiest brown I have caught in a while.

Even before I read your description I let out a "Wow!"

That's a stunner.

Congrats on all the recent tigers and the "slam (Flapper )."

Just a bunch of brown pics to show the variety of colors they display. All these were from the same stream.

Wow! Love those Tigers!

Is it my imagination or does it seem like there are more of them being caught now, vs just a few years ago?
