Zombies! I would’ve thrown a couple of those back, but they should still smoke up. Nice job!

Yeah.. If i had known it was gonna be a lights out bite i woulda thrown my zombie back, but the zombies were the first fish we caught all week.i thought they might be the only fishes we caught. I cut the tail off my zombie and he looked fine.. Smoked up great. Made a salmon dip outta him. Noice.

Fair enough, you do so well that I gotta give you a little shit😂 Cohos keep their flavor so much better than Chinooks do in the rivers. If a Chinook is 4 days in or longer, at least on GL tribs, you better smoke it.

I saw a guy keep a Chinny in Milwaukee 3 weeks ago, thing made your zombie look fresh! Half white and the tail was all bone. Horrifying

That's why I wait for the steelhead.
They are delicious!
My Traeger pellet grill works perfect on them!

I haven't seen any in my favorite spots yet this year.

Going to check again today.

Nothing wrong with Salmon fishing. If you go during the week it’s not bad.

There are fish in, bring a rod!

You should see some of the Raccoons that patrol the shoreline along the rivers at night. They look like bowling balls with legs after feasting on the fish that croaked along the way. Too bad we don't have a few urban Bears to clean things up, and to go along with our resident Cougar.

I’ve seen Alaskan Bears, but I imagine Milwaukee/Racine Raccoons are fat as hell. They probably survive winters well as a result.

Cougar(s?) in Milwaukee? Wow... I saw one out near me. They’re a lot bigger than some would think! Probably 3 feet high and lanky.

Yes i agree..steelhead are frickin finger lickin good.. But how many legal steelhead does one catch in a season?? only being able to legally possess 2 26+inch steelhead in a freezer kinda makes for a meager freezer.

Coho...its whats for dinner!!
