I just wanna know how Ron got all the bones out the trout we deep fried at trout stock last yr.

Had the traditional opening weekend meal of trout....butter, salt, garlic pepper and original Tabasco....

On boneless fillets. I do reasonable trimming after filleting. I trim out any remaining rib cage bones and always cut the belly fat and adipose fins out clean. The only bones that remain are very small pin bones above the lateral line. On trout 14" or less (the best eating size IMHO) those pin bones disintegrate well during cooking (baked, fries, sauteed, boiled, etc.) I will plan to bring some again to trout stock if you are frying Ozzyky!!! harvesting is for vegetables... ive never harvested a trout in my life... ive killed a shitload though. ThumpUp
