Tis the season!
I was hoping to do something besides trout this week and be successful. This wasn't quite what I hoped for, but it works.

$21.00 Eagle Claw 7' 5 weight from Wally world is really damn sweet! I hate myself for looking past these rod for so many years. They cast very well, did I mention only $21.00!!!!!
Next is the 6'6" 4 weight from Amazon.

Great find.
I just purchased a Cortland 4wt fly line from Wally for $15. Paired with my new Echo 3wt, it casts dry flies sweet. DTA's own Kyle3 loves it.

I'll look that up too. Did you actually find it at a Wal mart near you? Or online?

Did it come with a reel? If not did you buy one at Wally world to go with it. Just curious because at that price I can actually afford to try out fly fishing.
I live in a van down by the river.

My wife and I hit the lake today. More rain and panfish. Some bass too.

When I first saw the photo of your wife, I thought she was flipping the bird to the camera.

Ahahahaha!

I've wanted to pick up a Eagle Claw for sometime now. My father swears by 'em for panfish off the dock.
